My half-brother (so I have been told by my sister) joined the Marines today.

The funny part.. he was apparently considering Navy, but decided he didn't like the uniforms.

Okay, coming from a "born in the Army" to "married to Navy"...he should have gone Air Force if the uni's were the selling point...

I'm hoping there was more to it than that. Besides, I'd rather have sea than sand any day of the week..Prayers to him.

Yeah..
apparently Marines also had the 'right' field that he wanted to get into. Sorry, I don't recall WHAT the field was, but there ya go..

Oh, and something about cross-training him in that are as well.. so no, not 'just' for/about the uniform. ;D
