[100 prompts - Rain]

Jul 26, 2009 01:14

After finding myself at a loss of how to go about Myra's 'sneaky-sneaky super spy' expedition, I realized I'd give it a go through using the 100 prompts that have gone to the wayside.

This will be continued, but for now, here's the introduction to Myra's adventures in the realm of Chaz and The Shadow.

Heh heh, I *have* to continue this one, since it does have to do with some things going on in a community at the moment.

(also, I'm just putting up another prompt in a moment, hopefully you like it.)

It's a little, almost private kind of community where the play centers around events concerning The Shadow and his agents. It's Nexus friendly in that some of the 'agents' are directly from the Nexus.

Heh, it's up at least, but yeah, some days LJ really seems to drop the ball on that one, doesn't it?

Poor Myra, I bet it would've been more fun with Chaz along? Mebbe not. I like the whole theme of Murphy's Law hitting her. Very cool!

She at least would have had some company, but I imagine she's leery of bringing her along without being 'appropriately' armed.

Heh, not all missions are in good weather. :P

Yeeeah... It's just now occurring to me that might keep her out of some more exciting action. At least I made her 18 so she conceivably could get some weapon skills...

That's life... I like how you and Shad think out these little practical everyday details about vigilante work.

We'll work with it to get her in on some of the fun. Chaz is just too awesome to leave out of the mix!

I like this, very much. I've been letting the prompts and all my writing drop, due to the plot going on in the evenings. This makes me want to write about The Shadow in some sort of chase in the rain.

If you do, I'll definitely be reading it. Rain (and extreme weather in general, heat, etc) just make missions and events so much different. Placing this in the rain, was inspired by the piece you wrote about the poor Shadow sweltering on a hot rooftop.

I need to get back to writing, I'd wanted to have the rough draft of the story finished by now, and I never got past the second chapter. I'm glad to be a source of inspiration! I'd imagine battling the elements is an important part of their work, and i wish that came into the original stories more. it does play a small part in the longer fan fiction, which is set in summer.
