I won't comment too much because you already know what I think of this, but I will say that you absolutely have the characters down. I love how "giving" Sirius is, the way he wants to please and make Remus feel good. I think that's in his nature very much. We see that in canon with his gift-giving and in even in his Animagus form. Dogs love to please, don't they? But, Siriusly, I think that Sirius almost needs to give and to make others happy. He also would not hesitate to just jump in there like that. (And I don't just mean sexually.) I've always though of pre-Azkaban Sirius has being even more heedless or reckless - even when it comes to relationships. It's the dog thing again. Dogs have no shame, do they? They'll just do things and hope for the best
