Hey guys! So, as you may have seen, I'm really into Newsies (the 1992 movie musical, lol) lately, and I spent today listening to the song "Seize the Day" over and over and painting illustrations of the words! Oh lovely typography!
I really like the second one in particular, that spindly writing in comparison to the green bold letters. And that green! I think that may actually be the most amazing shade of green ever :O !

Did you have a reference for these fonts, or did you just make them up as you went along? Either way, my hat goes off to you!

:DD Thanks!! I really like the green too! My reasoning for it was that it's like an ogre, which is kinda like a giant? And money is green, which is what they're singing about...lol. Whether it works or not, I do like the green. :DDDD

That's an interesting question...I didn't use any fonts to look at, and all but the "Proud & Defiant" lettering is just my handwriting - like in my icon. And the "Proud & Defiant" lettering is the long, skinny version of the shaggydog_swap writing which I sorta made up, but probably based on Bordeaux font that I like a lot & something with serifs, like Courier or Typewriter.

IT's kind of cool to hear how well thought out the process was actually- there was a lot more to it than you would expect when you first look at it.
Typography is something that I've never really stopped to consider, but you've just used it in such an impressive way here.
Pretty damn cool!
