Stories carry with them the heart of their tellers. Or... so one of my tutors told me. They can forge the armor or hope or cast a man into the pit of despair. Do not discount their worth.

But you make a good point about the night binoculars. I will take a look myself, I think.

I think only that a story is of more worth than you allow it. Spinning tales is a great skill. There is much to appreciate in new knowledge, to say nothing of the effects of a good story on morale.
