[The sun is lowering in the sky as River Tam steps out of one of the many shops along the main avenue in Luceti, her eyes sharp and piercing, yet at the same time dully reflecting the ruddy light from the sun in her two shining orbs of bloodied crystal

[Sanji's on another one of his trips through the plaza, now that he's checked on the crew and made sure they haven't eaten each other or his dear Robin-chwan hasn't trolled them all to death. It's time to return to Nami in the plains before settling down somewhere for the night.

The lady he spots is a girl he's seen before, here and there. Can't place a name, though, a fact which makes him sad. A shame he's never had a chance to converse with her, now that he thinks about it, and he's on a bit of a schedule, too--

... One that is suddenly going to have to wait when he takes note of the blood dripping down her hand and the sword that's in a bruising grip. He doesn't stop to think - Sanji just moves, immediately concerned and not a little bit worried for her health]

[She doesn't move a muscle as Sanji calls out, not even her eyes move as he approaches, River just stands there, the blood dripping from her palm slowly sliding down the blade and dripping off the tip.]

[The concern spikes... as does his wariness. Why isn't she moving? Did she not hear him?]

Ah... Miss? [he's a few feet away and still walking forward, glance bouncing between her face and the sword she still wields. Said very softly:]

You're bleeding.

[As Sanji steps closer into range, there's an abrupt shift in River's stance. There's no discernible moment between her frozen body, and the suddenness of her fluid change into motion. Between one moment and the next, her sword has come flying from it's original position along her side, and is swinging up towards Sanji's face.

Her face.. remains unchanged]

[No-ah is a lot more restless when the sun starts going down, so he can be spotted just walking through town, when he spots-

Oh hey, it's that girl that freaked him out a long while ago.

He doesn't take much notice to anything else just yet.]

[River's done waiting around for people to find her, when she sees the young man coming towards her, her stride becomes purposeful and she starts walking towards No-ah with deliberate and silent intent]

[No-ah isn't used to having people walking straight towards him, so all he does is take a few steps to the side, since all he can guess is that he's in front of something she wants.]

[As she comes within range however, there's another shift. A moment where her moving forward.. and her sword moving upward, literally become one. And there's no telling when the moment actually occurred, but there is suddenly a sword coming for your face No-ah]

[Action] This is a really really bad idea. :D

[ So there's Rogue, oblivious to the potential danger as she strolls through town on her way to get groceries/to work/for a walk/wherever she damn well feels like.

...[River has already come from a battle already, who won or lost seems irrelevant to the young-woman, her sword is coated with blood, from her injured hand and from whoever it is she just... had a chat with.

and she's walking with silent purpose towards Rogue]

[ She doesn't notice River at first - but you know, you can not notice someone covered in blood with a weapon only so long before ...well.. you notice. ]

Whoah ... hey, what happened t'you? Are y'all right? [ Because she was walking well enough, but all that blood -- yeah she isn't getting too close just in case. You can never be too careful. ]

[Action]

[She suddenly breaks in to a run that's so sudden and carefully controlled, it's almost terrifying how fast she's moving in so short a time, her arm lifting the broken-blade up into an attack position as she stares intently into Rogue's eyes]

[Action] And this thread takes place after all others

[Erim was sitting on the roof of house #2 bored stiff for the moment really because nothing was going on in the village to deal with and she's also just worried about Sanji and Nami who she knows are away from the house but she doesn't wish to go and bother them.

So she decides to go head to the village for a bit just to have something to do while she still keeps her mind on the houses.]

[Action]

[River comes around the corner of a building, her sword dripping blood, her body covered in small wounds. As she sees Erim however, she stops, her eyes taking her in for a moment]

You know the other... It is irrelevant. [And just as suddenly as she stopped, she's moving again, with swift, graceful movements, she covers the distance between the two women, and leaps into the air, her blade swinging down to meet flesh]

[And from what Erim can see, there is definitely something off about this girl. She doesn't know her well, but the patterns of energy around her seem to be very abnormal for a human.

Best to deal with her swiftly so she can't harm anyone else here. Erim materializes her sword out of nowhere to block River's own sword before it can meet her "flesh" that is really energy disguised well.]

[Action]

[As River's sword is blocked, her continued momentum pushes downwards from above, her leg shooting out towards her new opponents middle as she uses her arms to shove herself off the other woman's sword from where their two swords had met.]

[Selphie's wandering aimlessly about the village, a tad lost in thought. She's not really paying attention to the blood on the streets or the fact that the street itself is awfully empty for the evening. She always saw people on the street as she slowly comes to a halt.

Then Selphie's noticing that the street is empty and she gets this sinking feeling in her stomach.]

Hello? Anybody around?

[Maybe it would be a good idea to head back home. Something didn't feel right to Selphie.]

[River is standing a few yards away... behind... Selphie.

As the young girl speaks up, River's eyes snap over and lock onto Selphie, blasting off from where she'd been standing, dripping with blood, she charges towards her next victim on silent feet, sword swinging]

[Selphie hears a rush of wind and looking towards River, she's pulling out her nunchaku at the last moment. Her green eyes narrowed as the SeeD slipped into a familiar battle stance. The perky brunette was not about to go down without a fight.]

[Noting the weapon with calm certainty, River cracks her sword downwards in a vertical strike towards Selphie's head]
