i agree with cecil - please post the email! and don't take any crap. you are right - no one should be expected to work 28 out of 31 days. no one.

What's great is that we're NOT complaining about working 28 of 31 days -- our issue is that the universe told them to give us THIS week off and now they're complaining.

I used to have a button on my Kenyon College backpack that read "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention." Injustices -- big and small -- are occurring around us all the time, and I think anyone with an opinion and even a modicum of self-respect eventually becomes an accidental revolutionary (our school newspaper is a great case study for this). Keep stirring that pot . . .
