I swear I don't know where the days are going. I popped onto LJ, just now, to read my Flists and realized it'd been 6 days since I posted last. And at first glance, I figured it was a flub of the system -- confused by the times zones or something..but, NO ( Read more... )

You do not mention the eclipse, which should have been at least partially visible from where you are. I would be interested in hearing the cultural interpretations aside from the scientific, if anyone has shared those type of things with you. Korea is much more advanced a country than say mainland China, but I am sure it has its rural areas too. The more you talk about it the more curious I become.

It was fully visible here, just on the next day after you saw it. There aren't any superstitions or folklore about them, at least not that I could get from the kids, but I will ask around the Korean office and see if they know more.

The longer I'm here, the fewer people who are with me. It just happens, more people suck than I thought. But, the longer I'm here, the more people there are who are actually here are here with me.

yeah, I left out a word or two on the last sentence: typing one handed with the bebe... but you get the point. Of course you can! More people suck then not in my experience, expecting it makes it not suck as bad.
