Wow, thank you! So, this is which ~ the pamphlet that people got who attended the exhibit?
May I ask, how did you get it/how could I get one?
I wasn't initially drawn to the Amano images, because the first ones I saw, although they were skillfully made art, didn't look like hyde.
But now there are several I've seen that I really care for, several of these here included. Sometimes, I see that Amano captured more the spirit of hyde rather than the images literally looking like him.
I got the clear file/booklet set that was available online through CDJapan, but there are only so many images in it.
I still don't know where to get hard copies of some others I've seen, one of hyde resting back in the teeth of a gigantic winged skull, or an image of hyde as Mercury (I think was the intention), with a winged helmet. I don't know where these images are contained.
I've just finished merging images 15 & 16 above, of hyde reclined with wings and the skull over him, to put it on my desktop.
I love art (though I kinda really suck at drawing, haha) so when I heard about this collab, I swooned. As you said, Amano got down Hyde's spirit/presence so I found the pictures very Hyde-ish and I loved them to death, haha. It's weird how one can look at the photo and still think, "yep, that's Hyde" even if it doesn't resemble him.
The booklet (and other merchandise) is sold at the exhibitions only, I think. I got lucky and came across someone selling it online at Yahoo Auctions, though!
