I was just watching Glee, and this one character was screamed at and belittled by her musical theatre teacher and I thought "yeah, been there." As much as I miss performing, I don't miss having to see people in that state. I respected and liked my music and theatre teachers, but sometimes they lost their cool, took things out on us

I feel the same way. I actually had the opportunity to have a play I've written performed on campus and I declined the offer because of the stress from theater in high school that has stayed with me.
