I was on my way to work today. Listening to Bane (something I haven't done in quite some time), I thought to myself 'I really don't want to go to work'. The thought of doing the same tedious task for eight and a half hours really sucks. I was at the light of Goss Ave and Eastern Parkway when I saw this guy crossing the street. Well, he got hit ( Read more... )

that was really interesting patrick. i totally agree with you. it sucks how everyone seems they HAVE to thrive off money and work their asses off, but yeah in the "real world" in order to really survive you have to have money, which sucks. maybe one day i'll win the lottery...

You have very many good points.We all see that we need money to survive in the U.S. even though we at times wish we could give up all resposibility and live life doing whatever we wanted.But then to fully think of it we realize to do the things we want we have to have money and to get a good career we have to further our educations unless we get lucky and find someone to hook us up.
And our parents are great role models for us because we see what we don't want to become and therefore we strive to not make the mistakes of our parents.Plus we also want to better oursleves for them.Life is hard but if we all strive to do our best we'll make it and when we die we will see that we did our best to have a great life in the end.
Stay safe and I hope the best for you.Maybe we can hang out sometime.Byes

you dont know how many times that exact same battle went on in my head when i worked at wal mart. i hated it. on breaks (and not on breaks) i would sit in my car and read all of this anarchist literature. free zines and what not. a lot of them told stories of people rebelling, quitting their jobs, telling their families to fuck off, and living out on the road. travelling, urban nomads. this one story really touched me, it was of a couple who was married. they divorced, quit their jobs, gave everything they owned away, and ran away together. to me, that was perfect love. they didnt need a piece of paper ordained by a church or government to say they loved each other. after reading their story i wanted to do that same thing BADLY. there was a person once that i wanted to do it with. just pick up, leave everything behind, move to a different country, and just live.

i want to do that with someone special...maybe someday i will find someone and will

::sniffs:: awww
