Crystal Peaks - Year One, Spring: Spencer
Me again! This time we're visiting the home of Crystal Peaks' wannabe chef Leonard Spencer.
First off a house tour.
It's the second smallest house in the neighbourhood and I don't think I'll be able to get an extension on it.
But I really love his little kitchen nook.
Okay that was fun.
And his minor event is to make a new friend online!
Leonard starts that off straight away by talking to a maxis match version of Mbali Emen (lilnettleheart) and also takes out a loan to start his own business.
Which he can now buy - Spencer Family Diner! I've never played a diner as a business before.
If you think I built this you obviously don't know me at all. This is YoYo's by slyndsey which I renamed. It's just perfect for Leonard!
One of his first customers is Serena!
And then my game almost crashed because it generated the first good warlock, don't get me wrong it's awesome but damn I nearly had a heart attack!
Leonard soon realises he can't do everything and needs some help. Also poor Tristen (ddeathflower) is all like "nooooo" whilst Hecuba (ddeathflower) is all "but that's none of my business" bahaha! Yes I'm aware I need more townies I'm working on it.
So Leonard hires some help. Adria (ddeathflower) is the new hostess.
And Poppy (muupi) is the server. They're both on a standard wage and seem happy about it.
Meaning Leonard can go back to learning how to cook and not burn everything.
Back home Leonard works on his cooking skills.
And strikes up a phone call with Mbali who agrees to come and visit once they're friends!
An exhausting first day for Leonard.
The next morning Leonard has a phone call with Mbali. Huh, he's friends with Ricky and has the hots for Serena - who knew?
Mbali finally agrees to come and visit, Leonard greets her with a kiss kiss.
Okay, the next season Alice Knight is going to have a town meeting to discuss the dos and don'ts of making friends.
After two rounds of woohoo Mbali turns down Leonard for a kiss. Looks gentle, but they're still friends.
He does have the hots for her though, so we're sticking with it.
The evil warlock also generated and created roaches all over the diner.
But the roaches wouldn't stop Leonard from getting his first rank!
Shame Thisbe (olivemuenda) brought it back down again.
After a difficult night shift Adria called it quits. Can't understand why, maybe she has other career prospects in mind.
Back home Leonard thought it would be a good idea to start a garden in a hail storm.
To escape the hail he invited Mbali over again who was a lot more receiving of his flirts.
You guys are making a mockery of a nice, slow relationship.
But they are cute together. Leonard asked Mbali to be his girlfriend just before this picture and she said yes.
Do you ever get the feeling you're being watched?
Mbali's made herself right at home, quite literally since she hasn't gone home in days.
Leonard doesn't mind, he can carry on as normal even with Mbali there.
This was second place for title picture. So Leonard asked Mbali on a date to the town hall - he wanted to play Marco Polo but Mbali wanted to go shopping. Priorities girl!
Since I have a mod in so time on community lots is the same as on the home lot, I had to wait a little while before Leonard returned home. Whilst waiting Serena came by to read the paper.
And Hilda came by to walk the cat. Leaving her toddler daughter at home?
When they did come home Leonard asked Mbali to move in and she said yes!
Apparently Teresa does not approve of the union, she ran onto the lot and stole the newspaper.
Mbali has 9 mechanical skill points, so she makes herself useful fixing the stuff Leonard broke.
And since she's part of the family she gets to work at the diner. LEONARD YOU ARE SCARING THE CUSTOMERS AWAY PLEASE STOP.
This game, I swear.
I think Adria misses her old job.
Since he's had the want locked (I made his second aspiration family) he proposed to Mbali at the diner.
At first I thought she was going to say no but she didn't - she said yes!
What a perfect way to end the night shift.
Poppy has worked so hard and never complained so Leonard gave her a raise.
These two are so cute together, I can't wait to plan their wedding next time!
And to end the update Leonard paid back some of his loan. He took a big chunk out but it's worth it.
So to summarise, Leonard paid 1.7k in tax (he's keeping a big chunk of money for the wedding instead of paying off his loan) and he has a successful diner. He successfully completed his ROS event and convinced her to marry him too. Also I was so thrilled when his OTH was cuisine, can you say perfect? Next time Mbali and Leonard will get married and I don't want to alarm anyone but I think risky woohoo has gotten involved again.
