Crystal Peaks - Year One, Spring: Knight
First thing to do is to introduce you to the home of our lazy wannabe mayor, Alice Knight!
Not much in the way of decoration but it looks okay.
Since it's the first round I'm sticking with the standard ROS until everyone has had a turn, then in summer we'll move thing along with a major and minor event (as per deedee_sims!) and the roll was one - one new friend!
First things first, Alice takes out a loan to buy the community lot. She still had about 7k in her bank so she took out the 10k to help furnish her town hall.
At first I wanted it to be a standard town hall yes the ticket machine is backwards i fixed it later
But I ended up making the place more like a social club. Whatever works. Okay, now the fun can begin!
Our first visitors! Ricky Fisher, Leonard Spencer and a townie by ddeathflower. None of them bought tickets.
Some more townies by ddeathflower showed up, still nothing. I must be doing something wrong!
The one person who did pay to come in was Teresa Lucas, and she used her time wisely by bullying the mayor.
Alice was not impressed.
A tiring and poor first day, Alice returns home to sleep the whole thing off.
I didn't want Alice to get a job straight away since I was determined to make the community lot work - so she spent a lot of time on her skills. Her LTW is to max out seven skills anyway.
She did however invite everyone over for a welcome party!
Then ACR kicked in... ALICE THAT IS NOT HOW YOU MAKE FRIENDS!
See, I did tell you. That was embarrassing. Because of this the party turned out to be a real dud.

Some more time at the town hall, Alice is enjoying doing little work and having the whole pool to herself.
Teresa is slowly becoming the town enemy by the look of things.
I gave up pretty quickly and had Alice sell things instead. No particular reason, but when the business goes up a few stars we'll convert it back to a 'community lot' instead of a store.
It was actually a pretty good idea, it went well.
Time to make a friend, Serena walked by so Alice invited her in for a game or two.
ALICE WILL YOU STOP TRYING TO KISS ALL OF YOUR VISITORS THEY ARE NOT IN TO YOU.

The little knowledge sim nerd wanted a telescope.
Even after trying it on with them both Serena and Hilda are Alice's two best friends and they walk by nearly every day.
The next day in the town hall Alice was trying to put the moves on this townie by deedee_sims and it seemed to be going well.
Until Hilda came by and interrupted with a kiss. Mixed signals much?
To see how things went Alice invited Hilda over for a date. She arrived in her underwear! The date went reaaaaaaally well.
I play with sound off and risky woohoo on, so imagine my horror. I wanted kids in the town one day - but not on the first family on the first rotation and the first bloody update. And twins! Why is it always twins in my game? Well, this is going to be interesting.
Alice still has about 7k to pay back on her loan but she's had to take out another 1k to help pay for furniture.
Have you ever seen anyone so happy to have a newspaper before?
Eeek, that can't be good for the twins!
Alice got struck by lightning! Which she enjoyed because she's a knowledge sim with weird wants! What!
First baby bump, these pajamas always make bumps look super cute.
So a wolf walked onto the lot, and knowledge sim Alice got really excited.
I actually locked the want, I'll make it a long-term goal for her.
As the rotation came to an end Alice invited Hilda over to feel the bump, but ACR took over instead and they ended up in bed together. Again. But they make a cute couple.
Not the start I pictured but it's the one we've got. Alice is going to have twin babies in the next rotation, it'll be interesting to see how Hilda feels when we get to her house. The tax was only 400 simoleons since Alice only has 4k left in the bank. The town hall needs a lot of work, I one day want to add an office and a proper meeting room to the place, but money is money and at a time like this we need every penny we can get.
