Yessssss. I've been trying to work that into my characterization, but I'm not entirely sure how - most of the time, the snark just ends up in Canada's mind and not necessarily on his lips.
Or maybe I just need to interact with America more? 8)
But yes. I'll try better the next time I thread with you. Just be sure that Canada can't actually say anything to Quebec! He really doesn't want you to separate. ;_;

Well idk, I think 99.9% of your portrayal is pretty good, that 0.1% is only the part where he uses that little snark against, YES, ALFRED.

Anywho, as already mentioned earlier, it wouldn't hurt to put a little more snark into Matthew, even it only comes out in his head. However, that's a fairly rhetorical request considering this was only confirmed for us Anglos to be canon yesterday. Or was that the day before yesterday? Time awareness; fuck it.
However, up till now without that confirmation, your Canada was very close to canon anyways (imho). Speaking of canon, there are what? A handful of strips to go by? Not a bible full of information to build on until you use real world events. Now, although yours is a bit of a doormat in regards to other nations pushing him around, I think you actually balance that out with Kumajiro's appearances. Kind of like a foil composed out of the dregs of Vancouver's gutters. (ie: the bear is one cool swinging mofo BAMF chika wow wow, yo.)
Also, it's a dressing room :) Everyone should feel free to experiment with their characters. Your depiction of Matthew is adorable, so ( ... )
