YEEEE!

NBC has done right by me.  Hour long blocks of my favorite shows before summer break? O-some.  And it showed the preview of John Krasinski's new movie, License to Wed.  I was making unintelligible noises all night. 

This icon is made with characters from Ouran High School Host Club, one of the wicked funniest animes to have come out of Japan lately.  The little crying wee cartoon character is Hunny, and he always compared to a bunny in the anime (because he is a parody of Momiji from Fruits Basket).  It's an icon I made because I wanted to show that I'm not ( Read more... )

Is it wrong that I totally love my job?  Who knew that insurance could make me happy?  I am a supernerd.

But still.  I'm chugging a diet mountain dew as we speak, because I am super tired for some strange reason.  My eyes keep doing that droopy almost sleeping thingy, even though I really, really, really don't want them to.  STOP IT DROOPY EYES!

There is something very satisfying (to me) about waking up at 6 am to make a batch of fresh eclairs on a Saturday morning.  I am not being sarcastic.  I am channeling my inner baker...or Amish person.  But if I were Amish, I suppose I wouldn't be making eclairs...but something more substantive.

How much do I love my workplace cafeteria?  Today?  There are mini funnel cakes of joy!  So I ate an extremely healthy lunch, followed by a deliciously powdered sugar piece of fried dough.  YUMM!

I was really bored. And being bored and not having a particularly exceptional talent for anything leads to awesome mediocrity. GO ME!
