An Update?

Yup, decided to update. Lots of stuff going on...
1. My church is voting Sunday of whether or not to leave our denomination. Please pray for us.
2. I'm REALLY excited about the future of my youth ministry. I've got some awesome things planned.

No offense man, but I totally don't like and disagree with that dereck webb quote. It's so Calvinist. To me, it makes no sense. We can do good on our own, simply by what we choose to do. If God makes us choose those things, then do we really have free will? Can we really love God?

But, eh, the song it's from is a fun song. Just disagree with the doctrine!

Eh, but I'm kinda Calvinist. I like to say I'm 90% Calvinist, 90% arminist. Yeah, the math doesn't add up, but it's like how Jesus was 100% man and 100% God. I wrote that in there because I decided that anything good I do, it's not really from my own choice; it's only from the leading of the Holy Spirit and my willingnness to follow it. Even anything good I do, God calls it a dirty tampon, so it's not like it's that good anyway, but it's all I can do for Him.

Well, I'm upset about some things that happened today, so I'm gonna go do something (not sure what yet) to clear my mind. Peace out brother.
