WHAAAAAAAAAAA how strange a coincidence! 0_0 I made melon bread last week too! I was gonna ask if you'd ever tried to make it! ^^
I found a recipe and adapted it ie, using regular all purpose flour instead of the hard/soft flour not adding egg to the bread dough but adding a whole egg to the cookie dough and then the best part, throwing in some chocolate chips which was a big success! X3
I made hot-dog octopi recently too after seeing them on your website... they were so fun, but I didn't want to eat them XD"
finally on a side note, if you ever want to make a recipe but the measurments are in a foreign language XD I've found this site really useful: http://www.onlineconversion.com/ ;)
Thank you! It was an easy, spur-of-the-moment thing. I'd made a bunch of melon bread and an pan, and was tired of making rolls, so why not? It came out a little crooked, BTW, because I'd run out of cookie sheet space and baked it on a pie plate. :)
I've seen that recipe before. The reason I didn't try it was because of all the weight measurements. How many teaspoons in 20 grams of butter? How many grams in a cup of flour? Arrgh! If you took notes that would help with this, I'd sure appreciate them!
Oooh, those chocolate chip cookie melon pan look gooood. I thought about it, but decided that for my first try I'd just play it straight. It's just too obvious a thing not to do, though, isn't it? :)
