psst, your website post links to an older entry. ;)
crab rangoon gyoza. Those three words make my stomach just GROWL! I tried making rangoons once, and it was EPIC FAIL! I don't know what I did wrong, but they turned out horrid. :( I ended up having to throw the whole lot out. It was a sad day, because I was so excited about making them. :P
The cream cheese mix just didn't taste right and I couldn't figure out why. I thought maybe cooking them would help, but it just didn't. It tasted rancid. And my ingredients were FRESH which was even more perplexing.
I followed a recipe I found online (can't remember where) to the letter. I probably should have scaled the recipe WAY down to test it out, but like I said, I was excited. LOL The thought of not having to spend $3 for 10 rangoons when I wanted them was quite appealing. :)
Perhaps, in future, when I get a new food processor, I shall try again with your recipe.
Huh. That is strange. Perhaps the brands weren't that good? I use Philadelphia cream cheese (the low-fat stuff works fine) and Kroger brand crab sticks. I don't have a food processor, so I just chop everything up fine, soften the cheese, and whisk it around.

What happened with your crab rangoons? There are a few things that can easily go wrong, and ways to get around them.
