I just spent a week back in the US and spent my nights re-reading Transmetropolitan, followed by half of my return flight today re-reading Fear and Loathing On The Campaign Trail '72. Seems as appropriate reading material as any.

We've got a clown car viz. Sarah Palin's vagina and McCain attempting to peddle backwards and forwards at the same time on a unicycle suspended 100 feet in the air on a tightrope.

I literally stepped into my apartment 10 minutes ago so I'm having trouble coming up with a suitable metaphor for Obama/Biden but I have a feeling a chair, a whip, and a pistol may be involved.

Next year is going to seem so empty by comparison.
