Thank you for digging in your gander bag just for me! (Naturally I have absolutely no idea what a gander bag is, but I'm pretending I do in order to appear less like an ignorant colonial.)
Archie and Horatio are sweet and adorable in any age, but otherwise, I confess, I am utterly mystified here. Are they immortal, albeit perpetually overworked? (I'm assuming this would be similar to Elvish immortality, which could still be brought to an end in battle or from a broken heart, since they seemed glad to have survived The Great War.) Or are these endless variations of our dear couple, rippling through time?

A gander bag is a made up term, as used by another radio character (see link in other comment).

In re your question I have no idea what's going on. Or why I wrote this. May have been a fic challenge. May have been anything...
