I like that we're now getting more personal backstory for Mohinder that extends beyond his past with Sylar (although I can't wait to find all that out). I also like the way you've detailed Sylar's behaviour after Mohinder has left -- he's cataloging Mohinder's belongings, trying to make sense of it all and even though Sylar believes Mohinder needs him for protection/to survive, Sylar has shown he needs Mohinder/craves him. It works to have some of this detailed in the way Peter and Matt observe Sylar during this time and then how you work your way into their own places within this new community on the island, with Peter as the unexpected leader and Matt bearing a bit of a grudge.

So this is how Mohinder meets Maya, eh?

I was tempted to do another Mohinder/Sylar flashback, but I decided not to in favor of working out in my head just how they met and all that. It will be explained later on, maybe in about four more chapters.
