A couple of guys at work have R-reg Scenics. Apart from the odd weird electrical problem on one of them (an RT), an incurable cabin water leak on the other (an RXE) and the fact that the rear wheelarches have gone rusty on both, they've been pretty good cars :)
The only problem I've really heard of regarding this car is that the sunroof is prone to leaking problems, but the previous owner has had no problems with that.
The seating position is completely new to me in that before, in the Skoda, it was more angled back since it was more of a compact car. This, however, has you sat upright and it makes for a totally comfortable drive.
I also love the footrest to the left of the clutch so that my foot isn't resting on it all the time. That's how I had to drive in the Skoda and it can really make your foot ache.
Fingers crossed it'll serve me faithfully for a good couple of years. =)
