Original Prologue, tell me what you think?

They say that we were human once, in a time so long ago even our oldest tombs reference it only as the past.  I sometimes wonder what it would have been like, to be born into the world that existed before the infernal and the abyssal lay siege to this one.  I wonder if my story would be different, happier

It has the rhythym and feel of a legend. The stage has certainly been set for an epic story. Is this going to be high fantasy or low fantasy?
