Oi, where the bloody hell am I?

[ England sounds incredibly dazed and confused, which isn't too surprising. It's what most people sound like when they wake up hungover and totally lostI promised myself I'd stop after my fifth pint... and I swore I did. The night's a bit hazy after that point, but I wasn't tanked enough to lose myself this badly ( Read more... )

Ahh, but it-

I mean..

It can't be helped, so don't worry about it, eh? You just arrived, and you need to rest some and get reoriented.

Right. I'll just nip in for the night and get reoriented tomorrow.

Good plan.

[We'll say for the sake of things, Canada hurried to England's room, just to make sure everything was still alright. Of course, he doesn't expect England to see him, especially with that still healing bite mark on his cheek, and the bruises on his face and by his eyes and stuff.

He kind of stands completely still when England comes in, and he tries not to run away or recoil or anything dsjajdkhagjkfdag Does not make eye contactttt]

Ahh.. u-um, welcome back, eh?

It's good to be back, I suppose.

[ putting his box of scones aside, but not before noticing Canada's playing the part of the neglected red head. ]

Canada?

[Seeing England also reminds him of the fight that he technically has not forgiven America for, but he can swallow his emotions like a man, just tsun him politely and keep him from killing himself.

Still... he can't help but feel overjoyed that England's back. Now, if only France would return..

He doesn't want to talk about it, he doesn't want to think about the fight, so when England says his name, he approaches slowly, before he's close enough to give him a hug. Blame his clingy tendencies on being with Franch for god knows how long.]

I-It's so good to see you again!

[ uuuu uuu hugs feel so good, and no I'm not channelling Maria there. But England is so unused to physical affection but it's so lovely. But he... kind of awkwardly stands there for a bit before hugging back awkwardly. Awkward family go ]

How long was I gone for, do you know?

[Canada's a good hugger for being an arctic landmass of ice and hockey. The whole family is awkward, but at least England didn't push him away. He hugs a bit tighter at the returned gesture before he lets go and takes a step back, toying with his sleeves.]

A few weeks, from when I found out.

[He pauses, and smiles sheepishly, forgetting a moment about the marks left over from the fight.]

S-Sorry.

[ it's the Franch side of him. & holy shit, did you get into a fight with a mountain lion, Canada ]

Canada, what happened?

[He blushes and looks away again, as if maybe if England can't see he'll forget. He puts a hand on the bite mark on his cheek, but.. honestly, he really sucks at lying. So he speaks to the floor.]

America and I had a... bit of a disagreement after you left. But it's.. not as bad as it looks. We just stopped talking for a while..

We were fighting, and he's quite the hoser when he doesn't have his way.

It's fine, though. It's almost gone.

I've always known that; I didn't think he was the type to resort to biting, though.

What were you fighting about in the first place?

[He looks toward a window oh good distraction point.]

We fought about.. how I wasn't as good enough of a brother to him that you were.

I got angry, and I told him that.. I wished it was him who left, and not you.

I only recently moved back in with him.

That's--

[ ... somewhat touching but it doesn't make America seem like any less of a dick ]

entirely wrong of him. He shouldn't have started a fight over something so frivolous, and you shouldn't have fought back. Not over my sake, at least.
