My Keys

Came in yesterday, locked the door shut, and now cannot find my keys. I've checked handbag, normal bag, all the stuff that was in both bags, all the places I've found my keys when I lost them before, under the bed, under the mattress, and every flat surface except the ones in the kitchen because (a) I'm fairly sure I didn't go in there, and (b) I

Check the kitchen! And completely seriously, what about on top of the fridge? We have a mini-fridge in our apartment and I lost my keys and a saucepan lid on top of it once, in the same day.

Laundry basket, dropped on top of a pile of clothes? Behind a closet door or in the corner behind the bedroom or bathroom door?

Check in the pockets of the pants, jacket or sweater you might have been wearing. If you normally hang you keys up and there's a table or chest (or in my case a toybox), see if they fell off the hook and behind whatever's on the floor under it.

This is where I've eventually found my keys when I've lost them in the house somewhere.
