Have they gone over the foot of the bed and ended up on or in something close to there? I've found the tendency for clothes to creep into my end-of-bed box that way, goodness knows how. The head of the bed is a popular hangout too, and even the nightstand. Places where the item can't logically have got to, but nonetheless...
if you took them off in the bathroom they could be in a cabinet. something that happens sometimes is if you stuff something in a drawer and the drawer is over-stuffed or you just push it back too far it gets caught behind the drawer while you are opening and closing it. best way to check that is open all the drawers in a dresser and make sure nothing is hanging from the drawer above that one. also take out the bottom drawer and check in there, lost tons of stuff there.
