Battery re-charger

I just got back from University a couple of weeks ago, but now I'm leaving to go traveling in a few days and I can't find my battery re-charger. It saves me a bunch of money if I can use it as opposed to going out and buying new batteries for my camera every couple of days, so I'm really hoping it will turn up soon. Check every reachable electric outlet in the place-- if somebody nabbed it to use it 'just this once', you'll find it.

When was the last time you would have taken the charger with you, and what did you have with you when you went? Suitcase? Toiletries bag? Backpack? Coat pocket? Pocket in the car door or glove box?
