Hello, stranger! I love my little whatchamaycallit. (I know it has a real name, but it escapes me). Also the fuzzy little purse. I don't disco any more (never did, if truth be told) so it hangs fuzzily on the hutch above my desk.
Your pic? I think it's a cocoon or chrysalis of some sort, that will open into a beautiful moth or butterfly.
I've been so bad this Christmas and haven't got anything out. Life has been so hectic, and now that it's starting to calm down, I find myself not wanting to do anything. That's one reason for the raffle. At least someone will get something, and everybody can play without too much effort on my part.
The zentangles I've been doing are tons of fun and very relaxing. I started doing them while sitting in the emergency rooms and hospital rooms with my mother. It's a testament to say that I'd look up from a zentangle I was doing, and almost be surprised to realize where I was. I think I'd have gone bananas without them.
I did not know your mother was poorly. That is so stressful, to be in and out of hospitals and ERs. I had a winter like that with Frank, and know whereof I speak.
I hope she is better, and that you all have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday this year.
She is doing better after 6 months. I'll never feel the same away about the Kaiser health care system. They caused her so much grief. The original illness could have been controlled within a month or so, but their pitiful procedures gave her a heart attack and assorted other problems. It's a testament to the fact that she's a survivor, that she's even around, let alone getting back to her former health. At 86, I think she's stronger than I am!
Thanks for joining my raffle. I'm getting such creative answers--this is great fun!
I do know what you mean. I miss all my friends, yet I don't want to get myself back to spending so much time on the net. It's a quandary!
I've added you to the raffle list. Hope you win. It's going to a be a full hat! I'm having a lot of fun with this, though, so chances are I'll be doing it again.
How have you been doing. Are your eyes better? I remember you were having a problem but can't remember what it was.
