ATCs with Stories

Jan 29, 2009 21:58

I've agreed to an Artist Trading Card swap with rain_oubliette, and we agreed to create ATCs and write a story of around 250 words to go with the card.

She's already finished her card, though I don't think she has the story ready yet. You can see her fantastic artwork here:

FineYoungFelineOnFlyingTrapezeI can't wait to see the card for real ( Read more... )

What an evocative ficlet, and a lovely picture to go with it.

Oh that's lovely, a modern parable.

ETA - the picture is one of your best. Is it actual size?

Thank you.

The picture is close to actual size. The only hard-fast rule for ATCs is that they be 2.5 x 3.5 inches (sorry, I forget what that is in centimeters and it's too early in the morning for math!).

I'm enjoying combining my two hobbies.

Very nice.

I hope he has a coat.

Thank yu.

I think after they shave him, his mother will collect his fur and use it to make a coat. She's very thrifty and crafty and all those 'ty's.

That's good to know, we wouldn't want him too chilly.

Well, he needs to be chilly--can't take the heat much. But he needs protection from the sun too.

It's hard to say whether he'll make it or not. Poor sod.

Lovely and atmospheric!

I'm looking at the gorgeous little piece of artwork you sent (I forget its name) as it graces my computer table. It's next to my Spike and Tara action figures, and makes me think of you and your generosity, often. I miss you.

Hope you had as wonderful a birthday as you deserve.

Melissa
