January - I went back into the hospital following my November 07 surgery and ended up in ICU

February - A massive pine tree fell on our house while we were all in it, breaking our porch

March - My uncle Matt died <3

sorry to hear about the insurance company totaling your car but did you consider buying it off of them? my friend's husband just had a run in with a deer and his insurance company totaled the car because they didn't wanna fix it because of the price. well, she bought the car off the insurance company for 300! yes, $300. she called around to junk yards and got parts for another $300. and the insurance company is still giving her 1700 for the repairs...so she's coming out on top for sure.
cavaliers are so popular that you'll definately get the parts that you need, unless of course, there was major damage to your car. if you think you might wanna do this, let me know. dustyn's fixing a new car right now that was in an accident, so we've become experts at part shopping :)

I fought a parking ticket or two, which comes with living in Pittsburgh. You have to pay before you go to court. So pay and plead not guilty and they will arrange a hearing. In the meantime, go back to the accident site and take lots of pictures. If you win in court, they'll pay you back. Did you get points on your license? If so, then you definitely want to go to court and at least try. I got a speeding ticket once and even though they found me guilty, they took my points away. So I paid the hefty fine, but my insurance never went up.

I truly hope the rest of the year is better for you. I hate that you have gone through all of that.

I wish I had some good advice to offer to help you out.
My dad had something kind of similar happen to him. He got hit and it was the other person's fault but my dad got screwed and ended up getting blamed for it. So I really have nothing positive to offer from that experience :\
