Ianto swept into the boardroom and addressed his colleagues in bewilderment.
“Why is there a top hat and a pair of gloves on my coffee station?”
The team variously spluttered, giggled, and outright laughed.
“I did NOT see that one coming,” Owen admitted.
Tosh finally composed herself enough to explain, “It’s an alien artefact. It appears to each person as whatever they’re expecting to see.”
There was a pause, and Gwen ventured, “Why on earth were you expecting to see a top hat and a pair of gloves?!”
Ianto merely blushed a little, and exchanged a subtle glance with Jack.
