i just drove home from chicago. the whole way. mapquest paints a picture of a 13 hour drive. we did it in 17. stopped for food twice. mcdonalds and tacobell. 5 fill-ups. the van didn't go very fast up hills, and much of the trip was surprisingly mountainous. this marks my longest time behind the wheel without switching drivers/sleeping

it's not too bad. a little boring, but really easy. it's pretty much a straight shot to chicago on 80. have fun!
