It is so hard loosing our furry friends, they just dont live long enough.
I feel I have an awful decision comming up with one of my dogs, it breaks my heart to even think of it.
He is lucky you saved him, I work with abused dogs and have come to really hate most people... but then those who 'save' these dogs resotre a small amount of faith in humans.

Im really sorry it has taken me so long to respond to you, i think i must be the worlds worst LJer, I really have to say that i really appreciated your comments. I got them almost immediately, less than a minute after you posted em. I am soooo sorry again for not replying sooner. I wanted to have something meaningful to say, and wanted to see if i could find something about your doggie on your journal, but i havent been feelin the best, and i havent been checking my friends post, or posting much obviously, and i dont know what is up with ur doggie :( Is he/she sick, or just old? I really hope you dont have to make that awful decision any time soon, it is one of the worst parts of responsible pet ownership, trying to decide whether they would want to go on living in awful pain, or whether to relieve them from it, quality not quantity and all that. I wish they could tell us for sure when they are ready to go

Im not sure if I replied to this or not, its been forever since u posted (poke poke)
I rescue dogs from pounds and find them homes, ppl suck big time!!
My dog has gotten worse, the vet told me we dont have many things left to try...
anyway, hope all is well over ur end of oz!
