The problem with showing the scene is that nothing happened there, obviously. so it would be even more boring. You'd be waiting for Zarek to get shot and it wouldn't happen and then you realize at the end there was no point to showing it.
I must say though, Baltar's scene where he demands an answer for God as to why all of this has happened was great.
I might have been at least mildly tense, I don't know. Maybe if I rewatch this episode it will be more interesting, it just seemed too drawn out for what actually happened. There are only 8 episodes left! Pick up the pace!
Yes, I enjoyed Baltar's scene, and then his "whatever" expression as drama broke out.
I would watch that forever and ever. Blair in the midst of an apocalypse! Adama making societal faux pas on the Upper East Side! Chuck scheming to take over the fleet and rule the remnants of humanity! Dan and Lee moping about together!
No, actually the latter would be too much woe to bear.
Though sudden;y I can't stop imagining Roslin as Chuck, or vice-versa. With Adama(Blair) trying to keep her from hitting rock bottom after the death of her father (Earth?)
