In some ways, the phone call to Sasha was harder. She loved the future!version of him and he was going to have to tell her that he was dead. Not to mention that Claire had been the one to kill him and Nathan had apparently authorized it. Sasha was sitting in her father's office going over some paperwork for Lucius. When her phone rang, she pulled it out of her pocket and flipped it open by the third ring, not checking the number first. "Hello?"

"Hey," Peter said quietly. "It's me." Even though he was pretty sure Sasha could tell the difference between his voice and the future version of himself. Not that saying its me clarified that any further if she couldn't.

His head was way too much of a mess to make sense of anything.

"Peter, thank god." Sasha answered, letting out a sigh of relief. "Where are you?"

"In the middle of the New Mexico desert somewhere near Area 51," Peter answered. He scuffed his shoe through some sand with a sigh. "I'm...alright."
