Postcards from the Edge (of America & My Sanity)

Tomorrow I'm off to the Gulf Coast for a week with my extended family (somebody saaaaave me!). Truthfully, I'd rather look for shark's teeth on the beach than do just about anything else in this world. There's just something so cathartic about thinking of nothing else and doing something purely for the enjoyment of it. *happy sigh* I live according ( Read more... )

I got a bunch, but I'd love to know what you listen to!!! If you want, you can just put the songs into a folder, create a free account at mediafire.com and then drag and drop the folder to upload it (it's super easy). Then you just click the SHARE button and it gives you a link. That's the easiest site I've ever used for uploading things.

I'm about to get offline and concentrate on packing, because I keep getting distracted and not packing lol - but I'll be back in about an hour or so and will be online for the watch party tonight! ♥

Have a safe drive and a FABULOUS trip!! Enjoy the serenity of the beach. I prefer sand dollars to sharks teeth but the simple joy of finding "treasure" in the sand is so fun.

I've only ever found pieces of sand dollars, but maybe this beach will be better for them! :D

Thanks, sweetie!!

Thanks, honey! Yeah, mom surprised us with this trip - I think she felt sorry for us bc my identity was stolen and it's caused a huge delay in our tax refund (which is what we normally would have used for a vacation), so it didn't look like we would be going anywhere this summer.

I'm still kind of in shock - maybe I'll believe it when we see the waves!!!

I envy you. One of my favourite things to do at the beach is look at tide pools, and the chances of me getting anywhere near an ocean anytime soon are very slim.
