I need a break from considering weighty matters like my complete lack of skill in basic areas of craft, so I bring to you: peculiarities. Mine specifically, but you're welcome to comment with yours

Oh man, I could never afford to plunk down for a BJD but I WISH I COULD. Every now and then I sneak over to the Bluefairy site and just sigh over all the prettiness. Yours are lovely; the one on the right has such clear and pretty eyes!
Those notebooks are so cute! And I think going to a cafe with nothing but writing materials is a great idea. Now you've made me want to make an inspiration/motivation post, too. It'd be fun if everyone did it.
And I've found that boring classes actually can inspire creativity-I've actually done the note-passing thing before in math, too, haha; it was fabulous.
My preferred notebook changes every few years or so-right now I'm a big fan of these eye-scarringly neon colored notebooks (as I am quite partial to eye-scarring neon). Before that, there was this one year Urban Outfitters made the perfect notebook (perfect line darkness, line spacing, awesome elastic/fabric thing to keep the notebook closed, and birds on the cover), and I bought a ton of those so I would be set even when they inevitably discontinued the line.
Those are great notebooks. I bought a purple one a while back to replace the one I keep in my purse, and it's the perfect size and everything. The little notebooks I find at Kinokuniya and other Japanese stores always fit my requirements better. The stuff I find at Target or Staples is never as flexible or perfectly sized.
Urban Outfitters makes great stuff sometimes. I have a glass candle with beautiful decoration on the outside, but I'm betting they don't sell those anymore. Makes me not want to use it.

I think the cute stationary and a shiny new notebook with a cute cover is always good motivation for getting something done! Lmao.
