you know, you could always chase your dreams in NYC... Hyatt Regency Jersey City needs your help, too. right now, i'm one of two shift managers who are allowed to (because we're the only two employees who can) work shifts w/o cm or acm supervision. just a thought.

and just because the first thing you thought had a chance didn't work out, doesn't mean it's worth giving up the fight. talk to peter matteson about that one. you have everything you need, you're just missing the right situation. if you think it can be found, then go find it! or continue to let the square-guy situation fall into place. it's up to you. your life is what you make happen, not what happens to you.

oh yeah... one more thing..

about the "i haven't moved on" notion... in a way you moved on before everyone else did. you dropped out and pursued what you thought was a better option. you entered the real world long before they did.

currently $30-$40 a day, plus $7.50/hr. i'd make more though, if people didn't pocket tips, the little fuckers. i swear, in jersey, it's all about the hustle. hustle or be hustled. it's all slowly getting better, though. i still make enough to get buy, get drunk and only work 4 shifts a week, so i can't complain too much.

when are you coming? if you need a place to stay... or if nothing else, i can see what kind of price i can get you at the hyatt, if you can't get anything through the sheraton.
