I forced myself to go through each and every chapter of that GHASTLY story and reported the chapters in which there was Plagarism and my complaints are being upheld and her chapters removed!!!!

OMG, that is her coherent? *shudders at the thought of what you had to put up with* It sounds familiar, but I just can't place it.

I know. I thought that too, hence the posting of it. *le sigh* Oh well, we shall see I suppose. Lets hope her account expires or something.

See I was thinking that too - especially the first half. I know she's bastardised it and fucked it up but you can see the vaguest threads of an originally coherent bit of text in there. According to one of her fans (A couple of them wrote back to me after I e-mailed them) she seems to have disappeared off the face of the earth. Lets hope literally huh?

Could fandom be that lucky to have her disappear? Really they should delete her whole account, most archives would.

Well technically Quizilla isn't an archive is it. She has posted her chapters as 'quizzes' which is silly really. I think they should remove all the content on the basis of that fact that they aren't even proper quizzes. But there we go. I wish I was more widely posted, but three archives is about all I can keep up with at the moment. I might look into portkey or a couple of the others later on, but for now Toujour Pur, FIA and HPFF are all I can be bothered with.

I can't place it...

I really dislike fics that sew the authors into the plot. Fanfictional masterbation, if you will.

Anyways, why I'm here: I just had a sudden epiphany.

I was reading Pandora's Paradox, and decided I ought to look up the author and see what else they've written. And when I did, I saw to my surprise I'd read quite a few of them already, loved them, and not even realized you wrote everyone.

As much as plagerism blows, atleast Mary-Sue writters everywhere are aspiring to be like you XD

Well, welcome to my LJ! I am always pleased to meet fans of my work and I'm honestly glad and proud to hear that you'd read my other stories and enjoyed them all.

Fanfictional masturbation. I like that terminology. LOL There is a very big difference between inventing an original character to fill a plot hole (eg Miranda in Ex Ir, or Karnford the DE etc etc) and mary-sue-ing your ass off. Mary-sue-ing is horrid and ghastly and never adds anything to the story because the author is always trying to draw attention to that character (ie themselves and their AWESOME MAGIKAL ABILITITITIEEES POWERS!!!ONE!!!ELEVENTY!!!1111!!) ROFLMAO

They [the mary-sue writers] may be aspiring to be like me, but I am not a Mary-sue writer (a fact I am immensely proud of). Although I suppose it is mildly flattering that some little troll somewhere considers my work impressive enough to piss around with.

I looked it up and its not chapter 1. I've not read Draco veritas so I wouldn't know if it's any further in.

When one of my fics was plagiarized I didn't even know about it until the admin of the site sent me an email. A reader noticed that this one lady (a 33 year old woman I might add) copied 5 other authors plus me. Can you imagine that? 6 authors and still she kept on. Her fics were so OOC that I could barely read through one em. I wanted to pull out my hair!!!

Hope someone puts a stop to that one cause I am betting there are more authors she copied other than you!

I'm just terrified that she's not the only one!!! *whimpers* I can fully imagine the horror - did you see what she did to my story? *sobs* It was AWFUL.
