The next few days passed steadily and without incident for Andriana.  Her mother did a fair job of keeping her busy; between work at the tavern and inn and the small things her mother seemed to find for her every spare moment, Andriana barely had a second to spare for herself, let alone enough time to worry over

This is fantastic. Your use of language and imagery really adds a richness to the story. It's great to see an uber fic like this - I'm not sure if there are more out there that I've missed, but the only other uber that I can think of is Telanu's The Lily and the Crown. And if yours is anywhere near as awesome as that one, which it's shaping up to be, then you're well on your way to being, you know, awesome! I can't wait to see where you take this!
