“Oh come on, Reba,” said Barbara Jean, nudging the reluctant redhead toward the front door of number 263.  The little town house was somber in the wintry afternoon light, and frankly, Barbara Jean was getting cold!  She wanted to get back into the awaiting heat of Brock’s SUV.

“You go for it!” she said.  “

Interesting pairing. I love Reba and have vague recollections of Kim when she was on ER. So far it seems you've kept Reba in character which I'm impressed with. Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see where you take this.

I must admit that I clicked on this fic just for the pure weirdness of the pairing, but this has utterly hooked me. It's beautifully done. Reba and Barbara Jean's relationship has always been filled with subtext on their show and I did love Kim back in the day. I'm curious to know what made you think of them together. But it works. It really works and it is so well written. Plus I think Reba is really hot. I just saw her in concert a few weeks ago and she is beyond adorable. I really hope that you write another chapter of this.

You saw her in concert?!?!? You could measure my jealousy on the RICHTER scale.

And I pride myself on making weird pairings believable ;) But when I thought of the sort of woman Reba would end up with... well, it immediately popped into my head that it would have to be someone who could sweep her off her feet, which the beautiful, intelligent Dr. Legaspi definitely could do. And I think Kim is much maligned for the whole Kerry thing and I wanted to explore a character that is more outwardly loving to care for her, like Reba. They just... fit, to me.

I clicked on this because I have enjoyed your other fics so much and I LOVE Kim Legaspi. I haven't seen to many episodes of Reba, but I have always thought she was a great singer and too cute for words. So while I would have never imagined the pairing, it is working excellently!! I can't wait to read more.

A friend of mine is Reba's tour manager, I am SO going to mention Reba's alter femslash ego I discovered ;)
