Oh, oh, oh! How do I love this? Perfect voices, perfect reactions, Fornell w/ his own Elflord! *squees* Wonderful snarks. And a great choice of injury -- losing use of a limb would just make Gibbs determined to adjust, but blindness would threaten to take away his job completely and really freak him.

Thank you! I picked the blindness because my Dad shoots, and he once had an injury that did threaten his sight. Imagining how Gibbs as a sniper would feel in that situation just came naturally.

It's crazy, I didn't actually ship them until my beta requested a fic (she's a big fan). Now I can feel it creeping into my fanon.

You are very kind, and I feel it would be rude to refuse such a generous offer. As for a prompt, how about 'whiskey in Gibbs basement after a long day'? A little ambiguous, but I'm not that good with specific prompts.
