An update on Titchmarsh's suitability to comment on the Proms: he just called Gaelic, as in Gaidhlig, as in Gah-lik, Gaelic, as in Gaeilge, as in Gay-lik (haha). (This, by the way, dramatically decreases his suitability for the post.)

Well, I don't mind when he's pottering about in the garden, I just think the BBC could have found SOMEONE more qualified to talk about the most major classical music event in the British calendar. Although, I have to say that they could have had Jeremy Guscott, ex-English rugby player and arrogant arsehole, doing it, because I've seen him on some classical music thing before. That would've been worse. Can't stand the smarmy git. At least Titchmarsh is sort of jolly and nice.
