All knitting, all the time

I have finally blocked my Sesame cardigan pieces. I may actually have a wearable sweater here pretty soon. But first a question for my fellow knitters. What is the best way to seam up the sweater once I get to that point? Mattress stitch? Whip stitch? Some other stitch I don't know? I use the invisible seam technique. Can't see it from the right side at all! It's called all different things, and mattress stitch is one of them.

Thanks, Tree. That is what I ended up using. I have one finished cardigan minus the buttons.
