Thanks for always having my back :) I realized afterwards that the paper I thought was my contract is only my offer letter, so let's see if the contract has a more reasonable hours allotment. I talked to one of the other TAs also the next day, who said that there would indeed be mutiny from amongst the ranks if the hours didn't reflect the workload. So I'll keep you guys updated--love you all for looking out for me, for real!
