The first 5 are actually Anne Geddes images. The rest I just found in random image searches. I'm assuming since it never gets cold enough here for winter hats, that's why I fell in love with all the hat images.
As for picture day, I never dress my kid 'special'. I remember HATING picture day as a kid. I remind her it's picture day and then she can dress how she likes. One year we got the most awesome personality shot of her I HAD to buy it. But normally I don't buy the school pictures, I shoot the kid on my own at about the same time as her school pictures. Then I can do fun things and include her backpack or what ever.
*blush* But you have to admit, many of hers are kind of squicky. As for picture day, here we have to buy a package sight unseen and then they do re-takes if you don't like it. Since this is his last year before High School, I kind of wanted the picture, but he didn't bring the paperwork home. And while we never require dressing up, a clean shirt and combed hair would have been nice. He wears it long, emulating his big brother, but where his brother has the kind of hair that can be worn to the waist easily, my baby has hair that is thick and curly and unruly, so a brush is mandatory. For every two inches longer it grows, it grows one out.
But--I too am a mom who allows a large degree of personal choice. Even if it makes me slump low in my seat during back to school night.

Arwen, wondering how you'd do with a thirteen year old boy who forgot to tell his parents it was picture day....
