It was my first Mae West film!

J had already seen that one, so I went with one she hadn't and for which West was credited with all the dialogue. But I will definitely watch She Done Him Wrong. There is some interesting race stuff! And the plot would be a lot more fun if they actually showed her and Grant falling in love--the most interesting bit it all off screen.

You MUST tell me what you thought of "Defendor"!! I saw it myself a couple of months ago and absolutely LOVED it; thought it was absolutely brilliant. Also "Help I'm Alive": Fabulous song and I've been listening to it on and off ever since. :D

I should write up a post--I keep meaning to, because it speaks to what I've been talking about off and on re: Watchmen/superheros in general and I think you even TOLD me about it. So I will! It just takes more energy than it used to to write stuff down, for some reason!
