I'm so sorry

Anyone who cares will have already seen this, but I can't stop thinking about it. I don't even know. On the off chance you haven't seen it, I am compelled to offer.

As potatofiend said, the amazing thing is that he actually said all this. He makes. No. Sense. And yet I can't stop watching. I love that someone saw this interview and knew what needed to be ( Read more... )

Oh God. This is amazing. XD

You know, I often get the feeling that William Shatner is actually trolling everyone, it's just that we're too stupid to get the joke most of the time. And I kind of love that.

I know, right? He's sort of inexplicable, and I think that's so much of what I love. I think it's true both that he has no idea what he's doing and every idea. And that he can be both at the same time? IS BEAUTIFUL.

HEEEE!

I love that song, too. It took me a bit to get into this one (I like Joe Jackson but I do not like him in this song) but oh man, I hear it in my head all the time now. WITH SHATNER.

He's on Bill Shatner. I think it's the only explanation.

Oh THANK YOU. You know I go mountainhiking once a week right? Well GUESS WHAT I'M GOING TO HAVE STUCK IN MY HEAD ALL THE WHILE.

(Oh who am I kidding, I'm going to rip this and put it on my mp3 player. I love nonsensical remixes, and this is a beauty. "He wants to make love to the mountain".)

I think there's an mp3 somewhere, though I haven't looked for it yet.

It makes me want to climb one.

I don't understand how it's so catchy, too.

And here I thought the Left Banke did exactly one song. Shows what I know.

I know!

I'm sorry the quality is so terrible. I've always liked "Walk Away Renee," but I heard that and... It's just captured me. And it was their other hit, my folks recognized it, and I just have never heard it on the radio. Anyway, their one album is not bad.

LOL I don't even know how I got there, but while I was watching this (again lol) I came across the original clip from the interview (which I actually do understand, having grown up in the middle of some spectacular mountains), and that led me to this, which I figured you'd want to see. XD

Enjoy!! :D

Ah, I meant to link that, too. Because... well, he still doesn't make sense. I mean with the mountain-being-alive thing. Though it does tap into his deep-seated need to compare everything to sex.

It's addictive, though, am I right?

The trailer thing... Ha. I think what's funny is he doesn't really react at all.
