I didn't get a chance to read them all but I'm looking forward to it!

Scott Walker is so weird. I like his lyrics, and some of the songs; I need to spend more time with him.

Esp. excited about the Forks article. HA.

For me, the most fascinating thing about Walker is the trajectory. To go from "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" to filthy Jacques Brel songs and strange lyrics couched in something like a lounge act to becoming a recluse to suddenly tossing out these incomprehensible, oddly-recorded opuses is just... bizarre. How does this happen? Where does it come from? What's the story?

I like his music too, of course, or I wouldn't be interested. But the mystery of it keeps me intrigued.
