Whoa, I haven't watched the last two yet. Now I must.

Don't you love it when you start shipping against your will?

That's what happened to me with Mulder/Krycek.

Yeah, I don't think I spoiled anything there. But I want to know what you think when you see it.

Damn unintentional shippage!

Is Martha the new companion for the new season?

Yes, she is; sorry for the out-of-nowhereness.

She is an almost-Doctor (MD, about to take exams) and is ass-kicking in her new role. I totally buy her as someone who *wants* to be gallivanting around the galaxy.

Did you buy Rose as someone who wanted it?

I buy Rose that way, except sometimes I find it a bit annoying because it feels like "OMG I get 2 travel r0x0rz!!!1!" and less... discovering new life and civilizations and boldly going where no teenage British girl has gone before.

Martha seems more to have grasped the intellectual curiosity of what they're doing. Rose was all "this is a life I'd never have had," like an escape, right? But Martha's kind of, and correct me when you finally meet her and I'm wrong, but to me she doesn't seem to need anywhere else to go; she's *involved* in a way Rose wasn't, always.

I may be retconning in my head like mad, though.

I prefer Martha to Rose actually-I think she's awesome!

Me too; but I'm wondering if I'm downplaying liking Rose, because I'm sure I did...

Martha just rules, though.
